Getting Started

Welcome to my crash course to gardening. Since purchasing my home in the fall, I've spent countless hours Googling, pursuing Pinterest, learning as much as I can. I haven't seen a lot of generalized beginners gardener guides, so for better or worse, I'm going to document my efforts to cultivate my plot of land. Since we moved in during the last half of the fall we didn't have time to do much more than raking up the leaves - which there were a lot of. I've stayed busy with some projects this winter, though, and I'm ready to get cracking this spring.

One of the ways I've stayed busy is by creating a map of our yard to help with planning.
